Bricks & Minifigs steers its new franchisees to a Dallas real-estate firm called Morrow Hill, a recommendation its franchise disclosure document does not mention, as this site has set out, and whose co-founder calls the company’s owners his “Utah Franchise Family,” as this site has also shown. This post does something narrower and duller: it reads the Texas record for exactly what Morrow Hill is. It is not one company. It is six of them, all at one Dallas address, and their paper trail holds three things worth setting down: a flagship that has worn three names, a habit of letting its companies lapse for unpaid taxes and reviving them, and an operating company a private-equity buyer now signs for.
Every entity below is registered to 14800 Quorum Drive, Suite 330, in Dallas, and each lists Christopher Morrow as its member, manager, or agent.

The oldest and central company carries the whole story on one Texas file number, 0801596190. It was formed on May 11, 2012 as a three-surname company, “Morrow Logan Hill, LLC,” and shortened to “Morrow Hill, LLC” seven weeks later. For a dozen years its record is routine: an annual franchise-tax report, most Marches, signed by Christopher Morrow. Then it lapses. The company was forfeited for unpaid franchise tax on February 23, 2024, reinstated that October, forfeited again on September 5, 2025, and reinstated that same October. Six weeks after that second revival, it changed its name a third time. On May 21, 2026, the day Reckless Ben posted Part 1 of his video and Bricks & Minifigs said it had “absolutely nothing to do with this situation,” it became “CM Legacy Holdco, LLC,” the initials of its member. The forfeitures are not unique to it: the California corporation was forfeited in 2020 and revived in 2022, and the OBV company was forfeited in early 2025 and revived weeks later. Letting a company go dark for unpaid tax and buying it back is, on this record, a house habit.
One thing the record does not explain is the “Logan” in the founding name, gone within seven weeks. The firm presents publicly as the work of a Morrow and a Hill. Who Logan was, the Texas record does not say.
The two newest operating companies tell the sale. Christopher Morrow formed Morrow Hill Operations, LLC on April 24, 2025 and listed himself as manager. By late that year he was no longer the one signing. On November 25, 2025, amendments to both Operations and the OBV company were executed by SFP-MH Buyer, LLC, over the name James Maxfield, and two weeks later, on December 8, the California corporation’s registered agent was changed over the same name. SFP is Sixth Form Partners, a private-equity firm; SFP-MH Buyer is its vehicle for buying Morrow Hill, and James Maxfield is one of its principals. In the same stretch all three companies moved their registered agent to CT Corporation System, the commercial agent a bought-in company usually adopts. In plain terms, the firm Bricks & Minifigs steers its franchisees to was acquired by a private-equity investor, and by the end of 2025 the buyer was signing its state filings. That is also the ordinary reason a founder renames his old company to a “legacy” holdco: he had sold the business. The only thing the calendar adds is that the sale was done by late 2025, and the rename waited until the following May.
Texas registers many companies with “Morrow” in the name, and this site’s worth depends on not mistaking them for this firm. Of the ones pulled and read, none shares the firm’s Quorum Drive address or names Christopher Morrow, so none is placed in the map above. A few, for the record:

Others sit in Bartlett, Canton, Oak Point, McKinney, Bedford, Austin and Castroville, each its own household. Where a company shares only the surname, it stays out of the map.
The fair counterpoint. These are ordinary corporate filings. A real-estate firm keeping a holding company, a state arm that converts from an LLC to a corporation, an operating company, and a couple more entities is normal structure, not evidence of anything, and nothing here suggests any of these companies is a shell for anyone. Tax forfeiture for a late annual report is common and is cured by paying the fee; it is a lapse, not a finding. This investigation looked and found no shared entity, no shared property, and no family tie between Morrow Hill and the owners of Bricks & Minifigs; the connection between them is the vendor relationship and the public friendship, both documented elsewhere on this site, and this filing history does not change that. The sale of the operating business to a private-equity firm is a normal transaction, and Sixth Form Partners is named only as the buyer of record. The “Logan” name is a question the record leaves open, set down as a question. Every file number here is public and can be pulled from the Texas Secretary of State, and everyone named is presumed to have acted lawfully.
