This is the plain-language version of the cited update, written to be read out loud. Every company here is on the public Texas record. Nobody is accused of anything, and everyone named is presumed to have acted lawfully.
Bricks and Minifigs tells its new franchisees to use a real-estate company in Dallas called Morrow Hill. It does not put that in its official franchise paperwork, and the company’s co-founder has publicly called the McNeffs his “Utah Franchise Family.” This one is simpler than most: it just walks through what Morrow Hill actually is, from the Texas record. And it turns out Morrow Hill is not one company. It is a little cluster of them, all at the same Dallas address, and the main one has changed its name three times, the last time on the very day the story broke.
There are about five companies that either carry the Morrow Hill name or run its business, all registered to the same office: the main holding company, a California branch that started as one kind of company and later turned into another, a newer one from 2023, and the operating company that now runs it. Normal enough for a business. The interesting part is the main one’s name.
The oldest company in the group started in 2012 with three last names in it: “Morrow Logan Hill.” Within about seven weeks it dropped one and became just “Morrow Hill.” It kept that name for almost fourteen years. Then, on the day Reckless Ben posted his first video and Bricks and Minifigs said it had “absolutely nothing to do with this situation,” it changed its name again, to “CM Legacy Holdco” (the initials belong to its owner, Christopher Morrow). The fuller story of that day, and of two matching name changes up in Utah, is here. One loose end the record never explains: who the “Logan” in the very first name was. The firm today is presented as a Morrow and a Hill. Where Logan went, the paperwork does not say.
Texas has other companies with “Morrow” in their names, and it matters to not mix them up. A couple that are not this firm: a Houston company run by a different Morrow family that also happens to do real estate (same last name, no connection); and another Texas company whose owner is not named in the records we have, which we are not tying to Morrow Hill. There is also an expired 2025 name reservation for a would-be Bricks and Minifigs store near Dallas, filed by a franchisee couple, that has nothing to do with Morrow Hill either. Noting them so nobody confuses them.
To be fair. These are normal company filings. A real-estate firm having a holding company, a branch, and an operating company is ordinary business structure, not proof of anything, and nothing here says any of these companies is a front for anyone. We looked for a shared company, a shared property, or a family connection between Morrow Hill and the owners of Bricks and Minifigs, and did not find one; the link between them is the business referral and the public friendship, both shown elsewhere on this site. The “Logan” name and the unnamed company are loose ends, written down as questions and not answers. Everything here is public. This site is not neutral about BAM and says so, and everyone named is presumed to have acted lawfully.
