The BAM Map, an anonymously operated investigative journalism platform, is under attack by BAM Franchising, Inc., a zealously overlitigious LEGO reseller desperate to rehabilitate its self-inflicted reputational damage by any means necessary.
Their questionably legal strategies have thus far included an ex parte restraining order against citizen journalist and YouTuber Reckless Ben, and other quasi-legal threats.
Recently, The BAM Map has become BAM Franchising Inc.’s latest target. The company has been granted leave via an ex parte order granting expedited discovery to file subpoenas attempting to unmask the anonymous operators of the website.
CONFIRMEDThe attack will not go unanswered.
However, mounting a legal defense against a company determined to crush all opposition, even self-admittedly legitimate investigative journalism that exposes astonishing business practices worthy of public scrutiny at any cost is expensive.
BAM Franchising, Inc. seeks to punish those who have brought this truth to light.
Those who operate in the shadows fear the light.
INFERENCEBAM Franchising Inc.’s frantic, baseless, and escalating attempts to extinguish the light is possibly indicative of the fear their officers face when confronted with the truth.
