This is the plain-language edition of BAM’s chief financial officer, and the three jobs he holds at once. Same facts, same grade, none of the case or filing numbers, and nothing hidden in boxes. Every claim below is stated again on the cited edition with its full sourcing attached.

You have met this man before on this site. His name is Reed Brimhall, and he is the chief financial officer of BAM, the LEGO resale franchise. A chief financial officer is the person who stands behind a company’s numbers, the one who vouches that the books are right. Here is the new thing, and it comes straight from a page Brimhall writes about himself, his own LinkedIn. He does not do the BAM job by itself. Right now he is a chief officer of three companies at the same time, and for two years he was a chief officer of four. Line his jobs up on a calendar and you can see it at a glance.

One job at a time, and then not

For most of his working life, Brimhall did one big job at a time, the normal way. He ran the books at a large public company. Before that, another. Then, from 2015, he was the finance chief at Scentsy, the Idaho scented-products company. One employer, one chair, then the next. Ordinary. But starting in 2015 the jobs stop taking turns and begin to pile up on top of one another.

The three jobs he has right now

By his own page, three of them are running at the same time today.

He has been the finance chief of BAM since 2016. BAM’s own booklet, the one it hands to people thinking about buying a franchise, lists him in that job, and it also lists him as one of the people allowed to sell the franchises.

He has been the top boss, the chief executive, of a Bricks and Minifigs store in Boise since 2015. That is a store he and his wife, Brook, opened in 2016, and he owns a piece of it. So the same man both owns and runs a store inside the chain and is the money chief of the company that sells the chain.

And he has been the finance chief of a separate investment company, Driven Capital, since 2019. That one has nothing to do with LEGO.

Now put his Scentsy years on top of all that, and for about two years, from early 2019 to the middle of 2021, he was holding four of these chief jobs at the same time.

Why it matters

Think about what a finance chief is for. He is the person who puts his name on a company’s numbers and says, trust these. BAM’s booklet is built on numbers like that, and this site has already shown places where those numbers are under strain: figures that look shaky by the usual tests while the official sign-off stayed clean, and a page that swore there was no lawsuit to report. That is the finance chief’s department. Nobody is saying the extra jobs caused any of it. The point is smaller, and it is simply true: the person who vouches for BAM’s numbers is, by his own telling, running another company’s money and helping run a store in the chain, all at once. We showed the very same shape once before, when BAM’s own booklet had one man wearing three company hats at the same time. If you are trusting the numbers, it is fair to notice how many other things carry the same signature.

The fair counterpoint. Plenty of people hold more than one big title, and there is nothing illegal about it, especially at small, family-run companies where a few people do everything. Running one store is not as heavy as being the finance chief of a big company, so four titles are not four full jobs, and none of this claims they are. And the whole picture comes from a page Brimhall keeps himself, which can be out of date or leave things out. This is not an accusation of anything. It is just a clear look at where one man’s name and time are spent, taken from his own record.
