Four houses signed to the wife, ten days before the lawsuit

CONFIRMED

The family’s own homes in Orem were quitclaimed to Daniel’s wife, Evelyn — all at once. Four houses, with recorder entry numbers running back-to-back, 5830 through 5833, about ten days before the sons sued their father in federal court in January 2021. Two years later the houses were rotated again, into brand-new shell companies named Bagend Burrow, Green Dragon Lair and Phoenix Keep. It is the same structure Legally Mine sells to clients, run on the family’s own roof.

The fair counterpoint — that the intent was fraudulent: signing a home to a spouse is legal, estate-planning LLCs are ordinary, and part of this predates the lawsuit. No court has ruled any of it fraudulent. What is confirmed is that it hits the “badges of fraud” the law uses to test these transfers.
