Believe a company against itself.
A company’s advertising is worthless as evidence, because it is built to be believed. The razor cuts every statement in two. The half said against the speaker’s own interest is credited: nobody volunteers a sentence that costs them something unless it is true. The half said in the speaker’s favor is a claim to be checked, not a confession to be believed, and it counts for nothing until a second author confirms it: a registry, a docket, a clock, a camera. The cut is clean because one reflex cannot produce both halves. The instinct that polishes a story does not volunteer the fact that ruins it.
So after one hundred updates, this site keeps one rule for every claim in this story, whoever makes it, and names it for the chief executive whose own record proves it best. The rule has teeth because the tellings were never supposed to meet: the filing was written for a regulator, the interview for a camera, the call for one officer’s notes, each audience told what it needed to hear. Anyone can keep a story straight. Nobody can keep two. Every entry below was assembled that way: believe what they said against themselves, then make the record prove the rest. The fair counterpoint, and the standard that earns it. These entries do not all weigh the same, and the badges say so: some are false on the face of a filing, some are collisions a court would still have to weigh, and some may yet have innocent explanations, marked in the entry’s caveat where one is live. The darker readings, that any of this was designed rather than sloppy, are not asserted here. The critic’s own overstatements sit in this census too, the “$200,000 stolen,” the “won by default,” the “$400 million company,” graded Refuted on the same razor. One side corrected its mistakes in the open. The other changed its story each time a document surfaced and never mentioned the last version. Do not trust this narrator either. Check the citations.
Sources. Every entry links to the update that documents it, or names the held record it rests on. Interview and recording quotes carry their timecode or the case file that holds them. Charges and civil claims referenced remain unadjudicated; every person named, including the officers and the two judges, is presumed innocent and presumed to have acted in good faith.
